Maruf Integration Ships — Three-Project Loop Closed

accomplished

The Maruf integration is live. Biznetrix now pulls leads from the Maruf platform on a five-minute cron cycle. Architecture: cursor-based pull (Biznetrix fetches from Maruf, not the other way) to bypass Biznetrix's own session, CSRF, and TOTP gates that would block server-to-server pushes. Ack-confirmed so Maruf knows which leads have been consumed. Idempotent upsert keyed on source system and source lead ID so duplicate pulls never create duplicate records. Score-on-arrival via the lead scoring service.

Two migrations: source fields on leads (system, lead ID, payload JSON) and a cron job seed to register the pull command as a managed scheduled task. Plus the integration documentation written the same day.

Three-project loop closed: a visitor on a Maruf property → API → Biznetrix lead with score. That is the system working end to end for the first time.

Lessons Learned

Pull-based integrations (the consumer fetches) are more robust than push-based (the producer sends) when the consumer has authentication gates. Design for the constraint rather than trying to bypass it.
