New Year's Day. Instead of resting I installed CodeIgniter 4 on a clean environment, connected the database, and started building. Called the project Biznetrix. No detailed spec, no sprint board — just a rough plan in PROJECT_PLAN.md and a clear mental model of what I wanted: a modern CRM that I actually wanted to use.
First session was ten files. Categories, services, testimonials, an image handler, a post seeder, contact view, page view. The skeleton of a content site. It does not look like a CRM yet but the routing and DB connection are clean and the folder structure is set. Feels like starting a book with a blank chapter one.
